Mrinal Mohit is a seasoned AI software leader and researcher with about a decade of experience building scalable NLP and enterprise AI systems. As a founding engineer and manager at Glean, he led the AI strategy for the Glean Assistant, blending search, RAG/LLMs, and cross-domain integration across GDrive, Slack, Jira, Salesforce, Gmail, etc., and grew the team to 10+ engineers while publishing eight patents. At Meta, he co-created PyText, led semantic parsing and on-device inference for AR/VR products, and contributed to a COVID-19 WhatsApp chatbot that served 14 million users in 20 languages. His open-source work on PyText underpins billions of daily predictions across Ads and Translation, and he has a track record of shipping production-grade NLP systems and training/inference infrastructure. He holds an MIT Media Lab master's degree and IIT Kharagpur BS in EE/CS, and is currently a Visiting Researcher at Neuralink, enabling exploration at the intersection of AI, NLP, and human-computer interaction. Outside of work, he is an avid photographer whose work has been featured by UNESCO and National Geographic.
